We love greens and we know you love them too! Perhaps, though, you struggle having fresh greens on hand to prepare. We understand the struggle! So we are transformed our greens box into a very specific CSA! Back by popular demand is our Greens Box by BHG – greens for you and me! This addition to our product selection is born from the real need for our own family to eat more leafy greens. We are on a mission to reduce the amount of pharmaceuticals we HAVE to use and leafy greens hold the key. Food truly is medicine! If you have followed our journey for any time, you have seen us adapt changes with in our diet to address health concerns such as gut health. We have seen such a difference with minor adjustments. With alarming news article and increased cost of living this is a challenge that we must acknowledge. We hope this box may help you overcome this challenge.

This season, to keep things simple, we are offering only one size which includes three pounds of greens. What will be delivered each week will largely depend on what is growing. Since we have already began planting we can tell you that your varieties may include but are not limited to kale, collards, mustards, salad greens, microgreens, chard & more. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!

For our 2026 Fall season we have teamed up with Aunt Katies Community Garden to make this CSA more accessible to our community. This is such a cool team up! They have graciously allowed us to set up a pickup location here. This means those who want to support local and want to be involved in the community get to do that in one shot! Keep in mind that Aunt Katies has been around for a while and has deep roots in the community. There are always classes and community events. This team up is offering community and diversity and most of all sustainable, home grown goodness!

Delivery will be on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. If this is not convenient for you, no worries! We offer delivery to your preferred address inside the Dothan City Limits as well. These options have been added to the shop page. Tentative dates are September 29th – November 17th. Once you sign up, you will be added to our Greens Box Newsletter where updates will be sent weekly.

With the current issues in the news we feel empowered to grow our own food and blessed to grow enough to share. We know the aforementioned cost of living increases have made it hard to make ends meet. We have decided to adjust our pricing for this season and have lowered the cost of this CSA 25 percent. We hope that you take advantage of this offer while slots are available. Sign up is now open and will close in 30 days.

Terms and Conditions

This is an 8 week subscription. Sign up will ONLY BE OPEN FOR A LIMITED TIME for each season. Once sign up closes – IT IS CLOSED. You pay for the entire 8 weeks in advance. This allows us to secure seeds and supplies for your membership each season. We operate just as any other CSA (community supported agriculture). Your investment into our farm is greatly appreciated. Although we will always do our best to ensure that we maximize your return on said investment, unforeseen circumstances may arise. If this does, we will inform you as soon as we possibly can and make appropriate accommodations. We ask that you PLEASE remain patient and respectful of our team members as we will do the same.

Greens will be delivered to everyone based on what is grown. Your delivery will be made promptly once weekly. Or, if you are picking up at Aunt Katies Community Garden please arrive between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Tuesdays. Communication is key so please be sure we have a current cell phone number for texting and email address for emails on file. If there is a need to cancel a week please inform us 24hrs prior to delivery. We do understand emergency situations arise and will work with you accordingly should that be the case.

If you have any allergies please inform us of these at time of purchase. If you have certain preferences please do inform us of these as well and we will do our best to adjust your weekly deliveries as needed. However, there is no guarantee that we will always be able to accommodate preferences. We offer a wide range of leafy green varieties, however there will likely be some repeats. You will receive up to three pounds pre-washed greens weekly. We strongly encourage members to wash again prior to preparation & consumption. To sum it up:

• This CSA is NONREFUNDABLE. Purchase indicates your agreement with these terms and conditions.
• Delivery is within the Dothan City limits only. If you are outside of the service area, please reach out to us via our contact page, perhaps arrangements may be made for your delivery. Or you may take advantage of our pick-up option.Please leave a cooler on the porch to receive your greens if you will not be there in person to accept delivery. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEM CONDTION AFTER DELIVERY!

• In the unfortunate occasion that we are unable to make fulfill a week of any members subscription, the member will be informed as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for accommodations.
