We love greens and we know you love them too! Perhaps, though, you struggle having fresh greens on hand to prepare. We understand the struggle! So for the first time ever we are transforming our greens box into a very specific CSA! Introducing Greens Box by BHG – greens for you and me! This new and exciting addition to our product selection is born from the real need for our own family to eat more leafy greens. We are on a mission to reduce the amount of pharmaceuticals we HAVE to use and greens hold the key. Food really is medicine! If you have followed our journey for any time, you have seen us adapt changes with in our diet to address health concerns such as gut health. We have seen such a difference with minor adjustments.
So back to the greens… Since we will be planting more by quantity and variety anyway, we decided to plant just a tad bit more and trial this CSA with our community. This is a beautiful way for our farm to essentially sustain itself! Investments from the fall greens CSA will go directly into the obtaining organic soil and compost to plant our 2026 season in! If you are a regular customer, signing up for the Greens Box will literally be investing in your future produce. Now that is what we call a real return on your investment!
Tentative dates are November 24th to December 15th. These greens will be freshly bitten by frost, tender, and sweet! We are already sowing all types of greens for this trial! Arugula, lettuce, Asian greens, collards, mustards, leaf broccoli – to name a few, have already been pulled out and are awaiting their turn to be planted.
Sign up is now open and will also close on September 1, 2025. This may seem a bit early to close for a CSA that begins in November, however, we feel that its better to be a early with our schedule rather than late. Since this is a trial, we are only opening 5 member slots. Spread the word, right after you snag your own subscription! If this goes well, we will plan to open a winter and spring session.
Terms and Conditions
This is a 4 week subscription. Sign up will ONLY BE OPEN FOR A LIMITED TIME for each season. Once sign up closes – IT IS CLOSED. You pay for the entire 4 weeks in advance. This allows us to secure seeds and supplies for your membership each season. We operate just as any other CSA (community supported agriculture). Your investment into our farm is greatly appreciated. Although we will always do our best to ensure that we maximize your return on said investment, unforeseen circumstances may arise. If this does, we will inform you as soon as we possibly can and make appropriate accommodations. We ask that you PLEASE remain patient and respectful of our team members as we will do the same.
Greens will be delivered to everyone based on what is grown. Your delivery will be made promptly once weekly. The specific day may vary each season depending on our family schedule. It will be announced along with delivery dates prior to the first delivery of the season. Communication is key so please be sure we have a current cell phone number for texting and email address for emails on file. If there is a need to cancel a week please inform us 24hrs prior to delivery. We do understand emergency situations arise and will work with you accordingly should that be the case.
If you have any allergies please inform us of these at time of purchase. If you have certain preferences please do inform us of these as well and we will do our best to adjust your weekly deliveries as needed. However, there is no guarantee that we will always be able to accommodate preferences. We offer a wide range of leafy green varieties, however there will likely be some repeats. You will receive one and a half pounds of pre-washed greens weekly. We encourage members to wash again prior to preparation & consumption. These may be harvested from two to three different varieties weekly. To sum it up:
- This subscription offers 24 ounces of greens delivered weekly at $130.00 per season, NONREFUNDABLE. Purchase indicates your agreement with these terms and conditions.
- Delivery of greens is included in the subscription service. Delivery is within the Dothan City limits only. If you are outside of the service area, please reach out to us via our contact page, perhaps arrangements may be made for your delivery. Please leave a cooler on the porch to receive your greens if you will not be there in person to accept delivery. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEM CONDTION AFTER DELIVERY!

- In the unfortunate occasion that we are unable to make fulfill a week of any members subscription, the member will be informed as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for accommodations.
- Wash thoroughly prior to preparation and consumption.
