This exotic fruit hails from Africa. Despite the name it is unlike any melon you have ever tasted! Boasting a flavor somewhere between a banana and a lime, it is full of health benefits! Use in salsa, smoothies, make a jam – there are so many fun uses of this horned fruit! Warning – those spikes hurt so be mindful of them! Use a vegetable peeler to remove before handling.

Our Jelly Melons were harvested before they reached the fully ripened, golden orange color they are known for. They can be eaten at this state or you may leave them at room temperature and wait for them to fully ripen. DO NOT REFRIDGERATE! You get 2 Kiwano Jelly Melons per order.
