This exotic fruit hails from Africa. Despite the name it is unlike any melon you have ever tasted! Fake out dill pickles, smoothies, jam – there are so many fun uses of this horned fruit! The 2025 BHG harvest has a very mild flavor more reminiscent to cucumber and honey dew than previous years. No worries, we remove those spikes prior to delivery!

Due to the freeze some of the fruits are not fully ripened. Unless otherwise requested, we will do our best to deliver you fully or as close to fully ripened fruits. Just a note, they can be eaten in either state for various flavor experiences. You may leave them at room temperature and wait for them to fully ripen. DO NOT REFRIDGERATE!
