Each year I get so nervous because Rosie blooms so early. The blossoms are absolutely breathtaking. I could literally spend hours with my camera taking photos from different angles. To spare you, though, I'm only sharing a small sample.😊
The expansion project on the bunny condominium is progressing nicely. Soon they will be in the trees! Dare to go where no bunny has gone before!🤣
Never thought we'd be able to say it but - WE RICH!🤣
This year we never stopped playing in the dirt as we have been doing successive plantings in the high tunnel all Winter. Still, it felt so good to start our Spring & Summer Peppers! Peppers can take a while to germinate (14 - 28 days) so do not give up on them. Keep watering! Once they sprout, remove them from the heat mat and remove the humidity dome if you are using one. 😉 Jalapeños are up!!! More to come!
Recycling is fun... from rusty to useful!
I spent the evening in one of the chicken runs just 👀 watching and learning more about our birds. In just 45 minutes I learned the pecking order had changed. I observed how 2 roosters can exist in one flock. I even got a little association from one of the girls. I kinda love chickens now.
