I love my garden Buddies soooo much! They know how to brighten my day. @el_capitain7 shared these Organic Purple Sweet Potatoes that they had already begun to make slips from. We noticed a few more roots popping out, so we are gonna try to quadruple the fun!

We lost one of the chicks today. It totally sucks but I'm choosing to focus on the positive.

Just when you thought I was done with the chick pics, our broody hen hatches out 2 more cutie pies!!!

Thai has adopted one of the chicks as her own. Cant blame her... Meet Blondie!

Just because it pouring rain doesn't mean there still isn't loads of work to do. Today, I'm sitting on the sofa shelling Okra. You read that right! It's almost time to get it into the ground, and this year, we are starting with our Motherland variety. We're hoping for more plants than last year. We need to fill the freezer!
